| Becoming A Redeemer Member
At Redeemer Lutheran Church, we are sensitive to the fact that many adults today are looking for the benefits of a church family. Therefore, we offer two courses specifically designed for adults who come to Redeemer to grow in their relationship with God:
If you want to find out more about
what it means to be a Christian?
what distinguishes Lutherans from other Christian churches?
Then Christianity 101 is for you!
This six-week course covers the basic teachings of the Christian church from a Lutheran perspective, leading each participant into a more meaningful relationship with God. Topics for discussion will include the Bible, Baptism and The Lords Supper, prayer and The Lords Prayer, the basic faith-statement of the Christian Church (called The Apostles Creed), and the application of Gods gracious gift of forgiveness to each of us.
Or do you want to find out more about
Redeemers vision and values for ministry?
Redeemers ministry structure, and how to get involved?
how to become a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church?
Then Membership Matters is for you!
Whether you have been through the Christianity 101 course, or you want to transfer your membership from another Lutheran Church, Membership Matters will introduce you to how Redeemer does things. This three-week course will prepare you for life as a Redeemer family member by introducing you to Redeemers ministry structure and offerings, communicating the expectations and benefits of church membership, and developing relationships with other Redeemer members.
Both courses are offered on a quarterly basis, from 9:45 to 10:45 on Sunday mornings. Childcare and Sunday School is offered at the same time for children of all ages.
