What is this thing called Ablaze!?

In its 2004 convention, The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod established a goal of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with 100 million people by the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation (October 31, 2017). Ablaze! is nothing more than the banner under which this goal is being lived out...a movement to share the Gospel with people throughout the world.

Redeemer has embraced this movement by providing classes, seminars, and resources to assist our members as they share the Good News of Jesus Christ with their families, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Since 2007, Redeemer's members have reported over 1500 "Gospel Contacts."

What is a "Gospel Contact?" Simply put, when a Gospel Contact is when one person gives a clear presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to another person, so that there is an opportunity for that person to respond-by receiving the message, rejecting it, or asking for more information.
